Blaine Manning
President
Blaine Manning, President and Head of Interest Rate Derivatives and Repo at Shorcan Brokers Limited has over sixteen years experience in the Capital Markets business, including fixed income and derivatives, which has garnered him a well rounded career. Prior to returning to Shorcan in April 2012, where Blaine originally started his career on the credit desk in 2003, he spent five years helping run Canada sales (all products) at ICAP Brokertec. While at ICAP, Blaine specialised in US Treasuries, Cad bonds, T-bills and Foreign exchange transactions.
Heath Thomlinson
CCO/COO
As CCO and COO, Heath Thomlinson oversees all aspects of Compliance and Operations at Shorcan. Heath joined Shorcan in 1993 as a Bond Broker, later managing Shorcan's Credit Desk for 10 years before taking on his current responsibilities.
Dmitry Tumanov
CTO
Dmitry Tumanov has solid development background and experience working in Toronto's leading financial institutions. He designed and developed Shorcan's Fixed Income Trading system. In addition to overseeing Shorcan Technology he continues to write production code and experiment with Artificial Intelligence. Dmitry has a Honours Bachelor of Science degree from York University. His hobbies include marine aquariums, photography and yoga.
Mark Vancea

Mark Vancea is Vice President of Electronic Trading at Shorcan. Mark brings over 20 years experience in Fixed Income Brokering and Electronic Trading to ensure the best execution for Shorcan's Clientele.
